Representatives from Cisco, IBM, and Kelway will be racing for charity in June

CEOs get ready for Sport Relief

CEOs taking part in the Leaderboard Triathlon Challenge for Sport Relief don’t have long left to prepare for the event.

Representatives from firms such as Cisco, RIM and IBM are taking part in the challenge, which takes place from now until June.

The executives have been invited to take part by Comic Relief and Phil Smith, CEO of Cisco UK & Ireland, and will complete the Blenheim Triathlon and another sporting challenge during Sport Relief alongside Comic Relief’s CEO Kevin Cahill

Each member is aiming to raise between £10k and £25k (if not more!), which makes the challenge a serious commitment.

The business executives will also be joined in their triathlon team by some well-known names from the sporting world, with ex British Lion Austin Healey and 400m ex-Olympian Roger Black completing the LeaderBoard Triathlon Challenge.

Paula Radcliffe will provide training tips to help with endurance, whilst James Cracknell has given the team personal pep talks, and Michael Johnson will look to help them with their winning mentality.

The Blenheim Triathlon will be take place in stunning grounds of Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, on the 9th and 10th June, 2012.

Here is the Sport Relief Giving page for the Leadboard Triathlon Challenge team.
