Here’s our roundup of new job appointments in the tech industry over the past few days.
Micron
The Crucial parent company has announced it has appointed Trevor Schulze as Chief Information Officer (CIO).
Schulze, who most recently served as Broadcom’s corporate vice president of IT, brings to Micron more than 25 years of IT, operations and product development experience.
Prior to Broadcom, Schulze worked as the corporate vice president of IT at AMD, where he oversaw global engineering and infrastructure solutions. He also held various IT and engineering management roles at Cisco.
NEC
NEC Display Solutions Europe has appointed Simon Jackson to lead a newly created strategic and global sales division.
The department will create a ‘centre of excellence’ for delivering strategic customer projects, showcasing NEC’s scale and ability to support global or cross-market customers. It will also encourage innovation and technology leadership in delivering solutions and applications tailored to customer needs.
Simon Jackson, based in NEC’s European Headquarters in Munich, Germany, will lead the team.
Bernd Eberhardt, President and CEO of NEC Display Solutions Europe commented: “Simon has demonstrated excellent leadership and expertise in implementing NEC’s vertical sales approach and we are looking forward to bringing that dedication and leadership to this newly created global sales division."
Netwrix
The IT auditing software company has strengthened its UK team with the appointment of Savina Lamberti as its channel account manager. The appointment is part of a major investment in its partner-network and further expansion of channel sales, marketing and support teams.
Lamberti joins from Azlan UK where she was most recently Cisco Business Development Manager, responsible for developing Cisco datacentre business. Prior to this she was with VMware as a partner account manager for premier and enterprise partner customers, and has also worked for Network General and Computer Associates.
“It is an exciting time to join Netwrix and be part of a growing success story,” said Lamberti. “Netwrix is 100 per cent committed to its channel and I will be helping to build a strong collaborative approach with our partners and customers.”
Mindlink
MindLink Software, developer of secure enterprise group chat applications compatible with Microsoft Lync and Skype for Business, has announced the appointment of Justin Forrest as its new global CEO.
He replaces Joseph Do, who founded the company in April 2011 and will now step up as chairman of the MindLink board.
Forrest will take on day-to-day responsibility for driving revenues, clients and user numbers globally, increasing shareholder value and focusing on delivering exponential growth for the company moving forward. He will draw on more than 25 years’ experience as a financial markets professional.
Forrest commented: "The demand for Enterprise Chat has never been greater as collaborative technologies revolutionise how businesses communicate internally and with clients."
