Growing distributor Target Components has nine new jobs available, and is holding a recruitment day to manage the high number of vacancies.
The event takes place on Friday the 4th of February at the Whitwood Inn in Castleford, West Yorkshire, where Target is based.
The openings come after a period of “unprecedented growth”, where Target enjoyed a 60 per cent sales increase and a turnover of £20 million, which saw their profits treble last year.
Target is keen to highlight that it shares ten per cent of yearly profits with employees.
Attendees will get the chance to talk about the roles with members of the Target team. There are openings in sales, business development, product management, purchasing and technical support.
Target’s Managing Director Paul Cubbage said: “As the VAT increase and the government cuts start to bite, it’s important that we all do as much as we can to create wealth and jobs in the economy.” He attributed their success to high quality customer service.
The event is open to everyone, opening at 10am until 2.30pm. For more information visit www.targetcomponents.co.uk and click ‘careers’.
