Following Microsoft’s E3 press conference yesterday, the firm announced that Xbox 360 will receive a new cloud storage system.
Using this, gamers will be able to sign into their Xbox Live account from any 360 console before accessing their game saves, profile and making purchases. They will also be able to check up on their achievements and friends.
At the moment a player can access all this via their gamertag which is saved on their Xbox 360 hard drive.
“Yes, cloud storage is coming to Xbox LIVE,” Xbox Live director of programming Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb said on Twitter.
