The beta version of Microsoft’s forthcoming successor to Windows Vista has been leaked onto peer-to-peer download site BitTorrent, making it available to download by anyone. The ‘Build 7000’ pirated version is apparently now held by 2000 of the network’s community, while 10,000 have downloaded at least part of the file so far.
This follows a leak of the alpha version earlier this year.
It is thought that Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer will focus his CES keynote speech on the Windows 7 during the show on January 7th.
