Distributor Westcon has appointed Dean Douglas as its new chief operating officerDouglas previously held senior positions at Motorola and IBM, and joins directly from a chief executive role at wireless services firm LLC International.
In his new position he will handle Westcon’s global operational activities, reporting directly to president Tom Dolan.
“Westcon enjoys a great reputation and occupies an extraordinary position in IT distribution,” said Douglas. “The company is respected as a global player and delivers products and solutions that are valued by its customers; I would like to build on this success and extend its reach even further into the market.”
