Will give resellers chance to talk to vendors and see latest products

Westcoast to hold expo on ‘The Importance of Education’

IT distributor Westcoast has announced it’s holding its second multi-vendor education event on April 25th 2012, focused around ‘The Importance of Education’.

It will be held at the British Library, London Kings Cross, and is expected to attract over 200 resellers.

Last year’s event in Oxford proved popular, and the firm is expecting this year’s to be both bigger and better. It says resellers will be able to engage with education vendors and see the latest technology and marketing offers, as well as interact with a selection of end users.

Those who attend will also have the chance to book one-to-one sessions with key speakers, from Westcoast, Samsung, Toshiba, Apple, HP and Microsoft.

Alex Tatham, Westcoast’s sales and marketing manager said: “Last year’s show was such a success providing valuable learning and networking opportunities for our customers, and this year, with the expertise Westcoast now have within the education sector, we aim to fully support our resellers grow their businesses throughout 2012.

‘You only have to look at those resellers who attended our 2011 event in Oxford – their education spends have increased by 72 per cent year on year. They are now better equipped to sell into the education market.’
