Westcoast launches Windows migration roadshow

With support ending for Microsoft’s Windows Server 2003, Westcoast is helping customers prepare for migration.

The distributor is holding a series of regional roadshows called ‘Time for Change’, designed to give resellers everything they need to successfully migrate once support ends on July 14th.

One roadshow will be held in Birmingham on February 24th, another in London on March 5th and the last will be held in Manchester on March 12th.

Westcoast’s event that is taking place in London will include an exclusive presentation by Alistair Campbell, the former Downing Street communications chief.

He will be highlighting some of the key issues facing businesses today.

Clare Leetham, Microsoft account manager at Westcoast, said: “We want to make sure resellers fully understand the risks of not upgrading and are also able to articulate the benefits of migration to more modern infrastructures or cloud solutions.”

Plus, each event will also feature a session from Microsoft and every attendee will be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win a pair of Rugby World Cup tickets.

Leetham added: “The roadshows are also a great opportunity to demonstrate how Westcoast will always be always on hand to help the migration process itself as run smoothly as possible for any business.”
