Westcoast has completed its acquisition of XMA, in a move it claimed would significantly expand its product and service offering. “It is essential to look to the future and make decisions that will support the growth and development plans of the business,” said Tim Beech, managing director for supplies at Westcoast. “The acquisition will give the company greater scale in order to compete in what are rapidly consolidating distribution and reseller markets. The two companies have a very good business and cultural fit and there are a lot of synergies for both customers and suppliers, as both share a customer driven ethos."
