Westcoast is to carry Toshiba's consumer electronics portfolio after the two signed a deal to sell them alongside its IT catalogue.
According to Microscope, the distributor will offer its reseller and retail partners access to the vendor's full range of consumer products, including DVD players and televisions.
Westcoast's sales and marketing director Alex Tatham told the magazine that the products would be offered to all of its customers.
"It is surprising just how many of our existing resellers – whether IT or office stationary product dealers – buy televisions today."
