Western Digital announced that the hard drive maker may struggle to meet demand in the 'December quarter' on account of ongoing flooding at the firm's manufacturing facilities in Thailand.
On the weekend rising water crashed through flood defences and swamped the Bang Pa-in industrial park, submerging equipment.
Elsewhere in Thailand, Navanokorn industrial park was also facing the threat of rising water levels, threatening another of WD's manufacturing facilities.
The company said the flooding would have "significant impact" on the firm's operations and ability to meet demand. The company will provide further updates during an investor conference call tomorrow.
WD said that all employees in Thailand were safe.
