Vodafone has released further details concerning its netbook deal with Dell, with the network operator describing the move as a 'natural step'.The deal, which will be available through Vodafone retail stores, its online site and corporate account managers, will see the network operator offering the device from free on a 24-month contract. The firm is still to release details of tariff.
Speaking about the deal, Vodafone's chief executive Nick Read said: "More and more consumers want an easy and quick way to connect to the internet, but there are times when they also want to catch up with emails on a screen larger than a mobile without compromising portability.
"We have taken the natural step to marry together great ultra-mobile technology with the UK's fastest and most reliable mobile broadband service," he added.
