Microsoft Vista is installed on less than ten per cent of PCs in North America and Europe, according to market research group Forrester. The report finds that although 31 per cent of IT managers have started migrating to the new OS, market penetration is still very low, according to the Inquirer.
The research has also found that there is considerable interest in Windows 7, which has a tentative release scheduled for next year, which could explain the low take up of Vista.
