Virgin Media has produced an Android application which will allow TiVo users to control recording of programs and video television schedules for the week ahead.
The arrival of the Virgin Media TV Guide on the Android Market now provides the same functionality that Sky users have head with the Sky Plus Record applications.
Virgin TV and online boss Alex Green said: "We think Virgin Media’s TiVo Service is the best way to watch TV and our new mobile app enhances that experience by ensuring you’ll never miss recording a programme whilst out and about."
"Our TiVo service already offers the most flexible and comprehensive recording options and features, which this new service complements," he added.
The app is a bit tricky to find on the marketplace, but via this link the app may be installed via the Android Market web site.
