VIP has claimed that its recent investment of £350,000 in warehouse technology will benefit its customers by means of reduced costs. The new Warehouse Management System from High Jump has been brought in to help improve the efficiency of the warehouse, and takes in the entire process from stock integrity, receiving and putting away to pick routines and dispatch documentation.
"WMS is a valuable tool for VIP, providing visibility for tracking orders and presenting managers with a tool to monitor staff performance on tasks in all areas," commented logistics manager at VIP, Rob Buchan. "Ultimately, WMS drives efficiency and allows for more robust processes to be implemented."
