VIP is offering its customers a voucher to obtain a copy of Windows 7 for free with each sale of Windows Vista.
Customers who buy Vista from the distributor will be able to upgrade to Windows 7 when the new operating system is released on October 22nd.
“Windows 7 offers marked improvements in terms of usability, performance and the overall user experience,” said VIP’s Microsoft product specialist Phil Bowery.
“I strongly encourage everyone to get the Release Candidate while it’s still available – when users see just how good it is, they’ll jump at the chance to get a free upgrade in October while still being able to use their PC with Vista until then.”
The vouchers will be available with purchases of both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Vista Home Premium, Vista Business and Vista Ultimate.
