VIP Computers has extended its price protection scheme until the end of June 2011.
The promise is designed to protect retailers from sudden price cuts that might leave them with a batch of unsellable stock.
The programme is expected to cover those VIP customers who requested price protection on AMD CPU purchases up to two weeks prior to an official AMD price drop.
“Our customers already trust the quality and reliability of AMD Processors - now they can buy with extra confidence knowing that they will be supported against price drops. VIP are proud to continue such a positive campaign,” commented VIP’s AMD product manager, Amy Parker.
