Distributor VIP has launched a dedicated, corporate reseller team. It’s headed up by Nick Barden, who has come up through the firm’s graduate recruitment scheme.
VIP’s initiatives in this sector will be supported by key vendors, it says, such as Intel, Asus and MSI.
“The ability to manage products easily and create bespoke packages for corporate VARs is a real strength for us in the market," said Barden (pictured). “VIP’s commitment to seeking out new products and services and ensuring that resellers always have access to the latest technology will be instrumental in helping us push forward into this space."
Dave Stevinson, director at VIP, said: “The conception and implementation of the Corporate Reseller Team is the next step in VIP’s development. By focusing on the specific vertical sectors we can tailor our product and service offering appropriately. With a dedicated team focusing all its time and efforts into maximising the potential of these VARs, we expect to deliver superior results to those of our more generalist competitors.”
VIP has also revealed that it will be publishing a quarterly Corporate Brochure. It will emphasise products that VIP feels will benefit specific market niches within this sector – the initial focus being on the education area with a wide range of AIO systems.
