VIDEO: Nokia?s new netbook

Nokia has announced its first ever range of netbooks, putting an end to months of sustained speculation.

Known as the Booklet 3G, Nokia’s 10-inch netbook will be powered by a Atom Z530 processor, will feature a HDMI port, an SD card reader, a webcam and Bluetooth support.

Nokia claims the device has a twelve-hour battery lifespan.

As its name suggests, it will have Wi-fi and 3G compatibility, but also will be integrated with Nokia's Ovi applications store.

Users will have direct access for relevant applications across the mobile giant’s answer to Apple’s App Store. Music tracks can be downloaded directly to the netbook through the Ovi Store, though further details are scarce, for now.

Nokia adds that the netbook will run on Windows, though which edition is unknown. Also unknown is the device’s price and date, though that will be confirmed soon.
