PCR can confirm that Ingram Micro's UK managing director Julian Klein has left the company.
PCR can also confirm that Pablo Suarez, who is currently managing director of Ingram's Miami Export Group, will replace him. He will be moving to the UK next week, though Ingram is yet to confirm when he will start.
Initial reports emerged earlier today, when CRN claimed that Klein had become the third high profile departure this year. Commercial director Bhavesh Patel left in January, followed by EMEA president Jay Forbes earlier this month.
Klein joined the company from audiovisual distributor Steljes two years ago. He was also managing director of Computer 2000 until 2003.
Ingram is expected to make an official statement tomorrow morning.
