The UK Government has banned the official use of iPhones by ministers, following numerous cases of lost data by various department.
Parliament health minister Simon Burns said the Apple iPhones "are not approved for government use by the CESG", essentially meaning it is prohibited to all ministers and civil servants reports Silicon.com.
Government officials are allowed BlackBerrys, but these are only allowed to be removed from Whitehall following strict encryption policies.
