Yorkshire-based company Pace has taken the top spot in the set-top box market, beating international rivals by increasing shipments by 31 per cent in 2009.
According to the Financial Times, the company rose from third place after securing increased shipments of its products to customers such as Canal+, Comcast and DirecTV.
Pace was able to improve its market share as the set-top sector expanded by 15.2 per cent and despite growing pressure from internet TV, analysts expect the company to maintain its position throughout 2010.
