Ubisoft PC titles will carry the Microsoft Games For Windows branding in future.
The news was revealed by the platform holder at its Leipzig conference yesterday.
The first Games For Windows Ubisoft title will be The Settlers: Rise of an Empire.
Other publishers already signed up to Games For Windows include 2K Games, Activision, Atari, EA, LucasArts, Midway and Sega.
Microsoft also announced that Train Simulator 2 from Microsoft Game Studios will join the roster of more than 60 titles currently announced to carry the brand.
In addition, it unveiled the return of its SideWinder line of gaming accessories, as reported by PC Retail yesterday.
