Social networking service Twitter announced that the firm has more than 100 million active users with over half of them logging in every day.
Twitter boss Dick Costolo revealed a set of impressive stats to reports with the announcements, as one might expect, also tweeted by the firm's own PR twitter account.
Mobile appears to have had a heavy hand in the continued success of the service with over 55 per cent now tweeting from their phone, up an astonishing 40 per cent from just a quarter ago.
Web traffic also surged with 400 million monthly unique visitors, up from 250 million in January 2011.
Costolo also revealed that the firm plans to "simplify the interface and make Twitter more consistent across devices."
