EntaTech has been appointed as the exclusive UK distributor for Eclipse, a new brand from peripherals vendor Mad Catz.
The range, which has already launched into a select few retail outlets, is a new direction for Mad Catz, which specialises in gaming peripherals. The Eclipse branded products are aimed at home and office users and feature a minimalist design.
“Eclipse is a range of lifestyle solutions that predominantly targets the gadget-loving early adopter generation. We have created a brand that combines top class engineering with unprecedented functionality and also cosmetically look fantastic,” said Rachel Gordon, UK marketing manager for Mad Catz. “This brand is a new direction for Mad Catz as we are traditionally known for video gaming peripherals. As the company evolves, our product offering expands so we are now satisfying larger demographics.”
EntaTech’s commercial group vice president Jon Atherton added: “The new Eclipse range is a luxury innovative solution to discerning PC and laptop users who want style combined with practical solutions for home and business.
“As well as being a suitable line for IT resellers, the range would fit perfectly within home entertainment retailers, which is a new audience for EntaTech. This also provides our customers the opportunity to appeal to a new audience. As always, we want to lead the way with new and innovative products, and being the UK’s exclusive distributor for the Eclipse range supports this strategy and complements our already extensive product portfolio.”
Devices in the Eclipse range include the Litetouch keyboard, with backlit scissor keys and a three-in-one LCD touch panel, the adjustable Mobilemouse and the Touchmouse, which features a dark brushed aluminium finish.
