Football Manager 2014

With sales in excess of eight million units to date, the Football Manager series has become a hit with footie-mad fans across the UK and the rest of the world.

Retailers can expect another top-selling release (the 2013 game was the best-selling game in the series with around one million sales), and “the most realistic” version to date. Proof that a boxed PC game can more than compete with its console cousins.

Battlefield 4

Arguably Call of Duty’s closest competitor, EA’s Battlefield series grows with what looks like will be its greatest game yet.

Gamers can take part in 64-player multiplayer battles, while two commanders can even use tablet computers to assist their friends as they take part in classic infantry and vehicle gameplay. Tower blocks in multiplayer maps that can be entered and completely destroyed.

Call of Duty: Ghosts

Call of Duty is the most popular military shooter in terms of unit sales, with tens of millions of copies sold and billions of dollars made from the prolific series to date.

Ghosts adds dynamic map events, an all-new storyline, the ability to lean and slide, and command a dog.

The best-selling sports game series of all time returns with more precise movements, improved football physics, ball-shielding and pure shot features.
