Top 10 things to see at ISE 2016

The Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) tradeshow opens its doors on 9th February at the Amsterdam RAI.

For the first time, the show will grow from three to four days, showcasing the latest in professional AV and electronic systems.

With an expanded show, there’s even more to see at ISE 2016. So to help you get your head around it all, PCR has rounded up the top ten things attendees should take a look at this year.

The world’s first 4K HLD projector
Optoma will be offering visitors a chance to be among the first in Europe to see its 4K high lumen density (HLD) projectors in action, which the firm says is a world’s first. Optoma’s demonstrations will be organised into five zones: 4K, HLD, corporate and education, ProScene solutions and home.

New Dolby Atmos soundbar
For the first time at ISE, Dolby will introduce a new form factor – a soundbar. Dolby will also demonstrate Dolby Atmos enabled AVR and speaker technology, and show how the adoption of Dolby Atmos by OEM partners, with the launch of multiple SKUs, offers ‘more choice than ever before’ for Dolby Atmos installations. There will also be a Dolby Atmos Immersive Theatre offering a host of demonstrations throughout the event.

Panasonic’s lamp-free projectors
Over the four days, Panasonic is promising to showcase some of ‘the world’s most innovative solutions’. What we know so far is that the firm will be offering a first look at its new range of lamp-free projectors, which will exceed 20,000 lumens for the first time.

5K and eye-protecting monitors from MMD
Philips/MMD will present some of its latest products at ISE 2016. The new Philips 27-inch LCD Monitor 275P4VYKEB with UltraClear 5K resolution and 14.7 million pixels will be on show, as well as MMD’s line-up of Philips monitors with innovative SoftBlue technology. SoftBlue protects eyes and reduces eye fatigue by mitigating the impact of blue-light exposure.

The first Dante-integrated power amp
LD Systems will be showing its DSP 44 K ProAudio power amp, which features a fully-integrated Dante network. The firm says it has developed the device to be optimally integrable.

The Sports Venue Technology Summit
On 11th February, ISE will host the Sports Venue Technology Summit, which explores a day in the life of the contemporary connected stadium. Topics to be explored include new approaches to fan engagement, AV-IT integration, event preparation, temporary overlay and more.

DVIGear’s ‘game-changing’ DisplayNet platform
DVIGear is exhibiting the DisplayNet AV-Over-10GbE distribution platform at ISE 2016. DisplayNet is an ‘entirely new concept for AV distribution’ that leverages proven 10GbE Ethernet technology to switch, extend and distribute uncompressed AV signals in real time with resolutions up to 4K (UHD).

Drone Arena
The Drone Arena will make its debut at ISE 2016. The new addition to the show will be hosted by Stampede Global and will be located at Park Foyer. The Drone Arena will welcome leading manufacturers and the latest product innovations, and will cover professional, commercial and consumer opportunities. It will feature education sessions and live demonstrations on every day of the show.

A new standard in collaboration systems
Cyviz has announced that the company, along with its global partner Leyard, will unveil the industry’s newest and most innovative collaboration system for executive meeting rooms. The L603 is a fully integrated unit combining Leyard’s direct view LED technology with Cyviz’s collaboration solutions. ‘A super-crisp, 151-inch LED display gives unmatched presentation of financial data, business reports and advanced visualization – even from the far end of the room,’ says the firm.

NEC’s 75-inch High Bright display
NEC will be demonstrating its new 75-inch display designed for areas with high levels of ambient light, and where the harsh environment of sunlight would affect the performance of normal displays. The 75-inch display intelligently adapts to its surroundings, using an integrated ambient light sensor. During the day, the display provides a bright, clear image regardless of the lighting conditions. At night, it dims, reducing power consumption and creating cost-efficiencies for the organisation.
