Time magazine has listed Windows Vista in its top ten biggest tech failures of the last decade, along with HD DVD, Microsoft's Zune and the Segway.
The US weekly said that the operating system has been "created to improve the security of the most widely used PC operating system in the world," but, "the securities features were not much better than the previous versions of Windows based on most reviews of the software."
Another reason it said Vista had been included in the list was due to it not being "compatible with a number of older PCs which limited the number of users who were likely to upgrade from the earlier version of Windows, known as XP."
Time also pointed out that even the most positive of reviews had said that the OS was a 'nice-to-have product rather than a must-have'.
