Tesco is set to merge its Computers for Schools scheme with the sports version of its popular promotion, with the retailer explaining the move as one that will give schools more choice over how to use the vouchers. From next year, rather than running the two schemes separately, the new promotion – which has yet to be named – will be replaced with a single one that will run for a 15 week period.
Tesco has said that alongside giving more choice to schools over how they use the vouchers, it also hopes that it will allow them to get new equipment in before the start of the new academic year.
