Dell has sealed a deal that will see its XPS and Inspiron models sell in Tesco stores this month. Consumers can also purchase the products from Extra stores and online through Tesco Direct. Branches in Ireland, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia will also see Dell notebooks and desktops later in the year."With over 15 million customers per week shopping at Tesco in the UK and another 15 million in Continental Europe, this deal will result in substantial exposure for Dell’s brands and products," said Mark Ormerod, Dell’s general manager for consumer PCs in EMEA.
This news follows Dell’s deal with DSGi, which will see the vendor’s entire range appear in PC World, Currys, Currys.digital and dixons.co.uk.
