Retail giant Tesco has launched a dedicated website for its tech support service, signalling its increasing ambitions in the sector.
The website is the product of its ongoing alliance with publishing powerhouse Future, which also produces the retailer's quarterly technology focused print title.
The site features dedicated online editorial content, 'how-to' tech videos fronted by Tesco Tech Support employees, content from the quarterly magazine, and a news feed from Future's TechRadar.com.
“With over 5000 products in an ever increasing range it is important that customers make the right purchase to meet their budget and needs," said Kelly Chapman, commercial manager of marketing at Tesco. "This helps to raise awareness of our service and the advice we provide also helps to simplify technology.”
Tesco now has 1000 technology advisors posted throughout the UK.
