The Technology Channels Association has announced the appointment of Mike Scott as a new co-opted director.
The TCA’s co-opted directors work alongside five elected directors, using their specific expertise to assist the 800-strong trade body.
Scott is the sales director at Dundee-based supplies vendor Medea International, where he has contributed to building up the business over the past 10 years.
“I am a completely committed supporter of the TCA. I have experienced first hand the benefits of being a member of the channel’s trade association and I’ve networked with many people in the industry,” Scott said. “In difficult times like these, all businesses should ensure they are part of their industry association and I am keen to get started, making sure the TCA continues to increase it's awareness.”
The TCA was formed in July this year when the Mac Technology Association merged with the Professional Computing Association. Members include digital technology vendors, distributors, resellers and service providers.
