Target Components has created a website called ‘Shop Talk’, which aims to provide advice, support and resources for independent retailers.
The launch comes after the Yorkshire-based distributor announced record profits for March and forms part of the company’s plan to “give something back” to its customers.
“Running a small business can be fantastically rewarding, but by nature of size there are unique challenges: it’s not easy to have all the skills and experience that you need in-house, and you don’t always have people to bounce ideas off. Shop Talk aims to help with both,” said Target Components’ MD Paul Cubbage.
“It is not a commercial enterprise in the sense that Shop Talk will not generate revenue, but if each of our customers got only one useful idea from it that helps to improve their business, it can only be beneficial to Target as well.”
