Synaxon UK has passed a major milestone with its EGIS buying system now offering over 100,000 products.
According to the firm, there are now 313,000 part numbers available via the system, with just over 109,000 individual products being offered by the buying group's distribution partners.
Speaking about the group's success, UK managing director Derek Jones said: "Our UK distribution partners have embraced EGIS wholeheartedly and they are already seeing just how effective it can be in terms of delivering additional income for their business.
"The fact that we have hit these key milestones so quickly is a testament to that success and we will continue to develop and grow the system over the coming months."
Ingram Micro has now been fully integrated into the system, with Entatech and Westcoast expected to compete the process by the end of April.
"The launch of this service opens up the Synaxon EGIS system to all UK resellers from the largest to the smallest," added Jones. "Large resellers are now able to pull through personalised and pre-negotiated distributor pricing and at the other end of the spectrum the smallest independents have access to Synaxon bulk discount terms from distributors."
