Synaxon will unveil its EGIS Ecom system at this year’s Channel Expo, which the buying group claims is a simple and cost-effective way to manage procurement.
Designed to meet the exacting specifications of corporate IT buyers, the EGIS Ecom system offers fully automated, end-to-end order processing and incorporates a process whereby orders placed on a resellers website can be set to trigger delivery direct from the distributors, ensuring next-day delivery.
“EGIS Ecom will give our members a real competitive edge in the market. It will enable them to bid and compete effectively for major contracts that otherwise, would have quite simply been out of their reach,” commented Synaxon UK’s systems support Phil Meacham.
“It enables them to give customers the choice, flexibility and level of service that they will demand and expect every day of the week from IT products suppliers. We are very excited about EGIS Ecom. It has the potential to revolutionise business for our members who have the opportunity to bid for major procurement contracts but don’t have the systems and processes in place to support that level of activity.”
