Reseller services group Synaxon has announced the winners of its 2015 UK Awards.
The winners were named during a special gala dinner ceremony, sponsored by distributor Ingram Micro, at its annual conference.
The winners received the awards from UK Managing Director of Synaxon UK, Derek Jones, after being treated to an inspiring motivational speech from British athletics legend Kriss Akabusi (check out more on PCR on Friday).
Earlier in the day, they heard about market opportunities from the CEO of Autotask Mark Cattini, VP of Worldwide Channel and Technical Sales at Webroot Charles Tomeo, as well Gemma Glen, Head of Print, Peripherals and Supplies at Ingram Micro.
The winners are as follows:
- Distributor of the Year – Beta Distribution
- Vendor of the Year – Western Digital
- Specialist Service of the Year – DMSL
- B2B / MSP Member of the Year – KOGO
- E-Tailer / Retailer Member of the Year – UK IT Online
- Synaxon Special Recognition Award – Jeffery Linton of JR Linton Computers (pictured – presented in recognition of valued contribution to the Synaxon community)
Jones said: “Congratulations to all the winners – they have made an outstanding contribution to the Synaxon community this year. All the awards are decided by members, so they can be genuinely proud of their achievement.
"But all the companies that were nominated deserve our gratitude and recognition. We are genuinely grateful and value for their support enormously.”
The other supplier partners shortlisted included: Ingram Micro UK, JetTec, Entatech, and Intec Micro (Distributor); BenQ , Kyocera, Cisco and Xerox (Vendor); LogicNow, Parcelforce, Autotask, Netjapan and L&Z (Specialist Service).
Members nominated for awards included: Pensar, Servium, Bear IT, 3C Technology, and Tandem (B2b / MSP); Space, Kingsfield Computers, JR Linton, Matrix IT, and Green Office Supplies (E-Tailer / Retailer).
The 2015 Synaxon National Conference took place at Staverton Park in Daventry from Thursday June 18th to Friday June 19th.
