Symantec, the firm behind the Norton security software range, has launched a new marketing campaign entitled Norton Heroes.
The campaign is based on conflict between a set of super heroes and villains – the later of which are essentially personified versions of various forms of malware, which Symantec says is designed to help educate users against the threats.
“The Norton Heroes campaign brings a friendly face to the Norton brand and products," said Farhana Rafi, Symantec UK’s consumer marketing manager. "Our goal is to create awareness and a customer connection to the brand, as well as developing a fun site that the public can enjoy. We hope we’ve brought a variety of information on Internet security into one place.”
