Storage Options has launched a fully fledged 3D tablet for £129, which it claims is the only tablet of its type in the UK for under £200.
The Scroll Excel is a seven-inch tablet with a Cortex A8 1 Ghz processor, 512 MB RAM, 4GB Memory, Android 2.3, and has the ability to output 3D content directly to a 3D TV or monitor through a mini HDMI cable. It will also output 1080p HD video content.
Paul Evison, marketing manager for Storage Options commented: “This is now easily the fastest tablet in our range and we think people will be really excited at the opportunity to have a highly responsive 3D tablet at a price that doesn’t break the bank.”
Alongside this, the firm has also launched the Scroll Essential 7-inch Tablet, for the comparatively rock bottom price of of £69.99.
It becomes a 1080p full HD media player, allowing HD content to be streamed to a TV. It has a 2GB standard memory which can be expanded to 32GB with a micro SD card, Android 2.3, an ARM11 1GHz processor and 256MB DDR2 RAM.
Both of these new tablets will come preloaded with WildTangent’s new Android Games Service which allows users to try premium games for free after watching a short video.
