Stone has appointed former Rolls Royce exec Paul Hollinshead as group operations director in a bid to build the business and boost its market performance.
Hollinshead, who replaces David Wilcox, will work closely with the rest of the senior management team to achieve Stone’s goal of being the number one computer hardware manufacturer to the public sector.
The new group operations director started his career with 21 years at Rolls Royce Aero Engines in Derby, later becoming a lecturer, before setting up his own management consultancy business.
“I am delighted to be joining Stone at such an exciting time. The past year has been significant for the business in terms of revenue growth and the move to the new state-of-the art manufacturing and office facility, Granite One Hundred. I look forward to offering a fresh approach to the business, and hope to use these recent positive steps as a platform to achieving excellence in everything the company undertakes,” Hollinshead said.
Stone CEO James Bird added: “The team at Stone is proud to welcome Paul on board. With his excellent track record in taking businesses to the next level, we are confident that Paul will help us realise our aggressive growth targets for the next financial year and beyond.”
