Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has expressed admiration for Apple’s strategy and implementation of the App Store.
According to the Apple Insider, Ballmer said in a speech at the University of Washington: “Apple's done a very nice job that allows people to monetize and commercialise their intellectual property.”
The statement has been widely read to signal a warmer relationship between the two companies as both companies look to check the growth of Google. Rumours of a deal to position Bing as the default search engine on the iPhone have abounded in the last few months.
