Spire signs distribution deal with gaming specialist Xtrfy

Spire Technology has tied up a distribution deal with Swedish gaming gear specialist Xtrfy. The UK distributor will now be in charge of getting Xtrfy’s gaming products into UK retailers.

Jamie Plumridge, head of Product Management at Spire Technology, said he was excited by the partnership and is particularly excited to bring Xtrfy and Ninjas in Pyjamas’ esports range to market.

“With the continued growth of high-end gaming products, Spire is committed to bringing its customers the very best products the sector has to offer,” he said. “As one of only a handful of e-sports teams with their own brand of pro gear, Xtrfy was a standout choice due to the huge following of their Ninjas in Pyjamas team. We are really excited to bring the outstanding Xtrfy gaming range to our customers.”

Equally excited about the deal, Joakim Jansson, co-founder and vice president at Xtrfy, is looking forward to having a greater presence in the UK,” he said. “We’re really excited about our new partnership with Spire. With their experience in high-end products and strong commitment as distributors, we’re confident that they’re the right partner for us as we move forward on the UK market.

“At Xtrfy, we are passionate about esports and we want to create the best gear for gamers. All of our products are based on the same key component: experience. We have been working closely with pro gamers for more than a decade, and in 2014, Xtrfy joined forces with esports organisation Ninjas in Pyjamas. Together, we create tools that help gamers perform, designed by the players themselves.”
