The VAIO AR50-series, the first to ever feature an intergrated Blu-ray disk optical drive, has been upgraded. The notebooks offer the ability to burn, edit and playback Blu-ray formatted disks of up to 50GB. The laptops feature a 17-inch widescreen, capable of displaying HD 1080p.The AR50-Series is more than powerful enough to edit HD1080 content thanks to the latest Intel Centrino Duo processor technology and NVIDIA GeForce graphics featuring hardware HD decoding.
Additionally, the VAIO FZ20-series consists of a portable 15.4-inch screen and a separate 50GB hard drive dedicated to personal video content. From the VAIO range this model is perhaps best suited to gaming and multimedia as it has the latest Intel Centrino Duo processor technology and NVIDIA GeForce graphics with hardware HD decoding for superior performance.
Finally, the L-series features future-proof High Definition video thanks to an integrated slot-in Blu-ray Disc Drive. It features a wireless keyboard and mouse as well as twin hybrid analogue/DVB-T digital TV tuners that allow you to record one programme and watch another simultaneously. The system offers massive recording capacity with a 320GB hard disk. The LT models are distinguished by a massive 22-inch screen, while the LM models feature a 19-inch screen.
