Sony has unveiled its new line of Handycams, including its first foray in to 3D video capture.
As well as Sony’s new 3D camera, the HD-TD10E, there is also a model called the HDR-PJ that incorporates an integrated projector, while the HDR-CX700E cover the prosumer end of the scale.
As well as revamping its camcorder range, the vendor has also introduced new devices, such as the 3D-capable Bravia LCD TV, 3D Blu-ray capable home audio and video systems, Cyber-shot cameras, VAIO® personal computers, and e-readers.
“This year, consumers will notice many dazzling new networked products, content, and services, along with innovative, future-focused technologies,” said Sony’s chairman, Sir Howard Stringer.
“It’s a consumer proposition that no other company can match, and it’s an impressive, concrete testament to the strength and vision of Sony.”
