Security vendor reports its twelfth consecutive quarter of growth

Solid results for McAfee

McAfee has posted a revenue increase of 19 per cent for the final quarter of 2008, marking its twelfth consecutive quarter of growth.

With the revenue for the quarter standing at $424 million, McAfee has issued a confident prediction of $440-$460 million for the current quarter, far exceeding analysts expectations.

“McAfee’s 2008 results reflect our security market leadership and above-market growth rate,” said McAfee’s chief executive, Dave DeWalt.

“Year-over-year corporate revenue grew 25 per cent, consumer revenue grew 18 per cent and we delivered double-digit growth in all five geographies and across all product segments.”
