Marlow based reseller Softcat has been placed third in ‘The Sunday Times100 best small companies to work for’ listing. The firm, which employs 180 staff and makes annual sales of £103 million, mainly provides software licensing, hardware and security to the corporate sector.
“We genuinely want to treat people well, and know they are having a good time and feel valued,” said chairman and founder Peter Kelly. “You want an environment enjoy coming into work, because that success breeds success.”
The firm also came top in the ‘getting a buzz from work’ category, claiming 89.4 per cent of employees did just that.
