SMEs are to increase their spending on IT security next year, according to a survey of 2,800 IT managers.25 per cent of respondents said that their companies would be spending between 7 per cent and 10 per cent of their total budget on security, while 13 per cent indicated that the figure would be over 15 per cent, according to Astaro Corporation who carried out the survey.
That figure is set to rise with nearly 70 per cent of all respondents suggesting that they would increase budgets to prevent unauthorised access to networks and data.
