Show Guide: Technology Exposed 2012

Held at the prestigious Ascot racecourse on September 19th and 20th, Technology Exposed 2012 can claim to be the UK’s premier showcase for custom installers and resellers.

Now in its third year, Technology Exposed is a fantastic opportunity to see the latest innovations from the biggest brands across the audio visual, audio, consumer electronics, security, barcode scanners, print and imaging markets. For 2012, Technology Exposed will take a fresh approach to trade shows. With three specially designed solution areas, visitors will be able to discover multiple solution-based business opportunities in a realistic working environment. This year’s Technology Exposed is focused on highlighting the potential of solution-based business and will showcase fully- integrated technology within ‘real life’ simulated environments.

Rarely seen at any show, the size and scale of this display solution is not to be missed! A fully working command and control room featuring a broad selection of integrated technologies: furniture from Intech; a 180 degree curved projection screen from AV Stumfl; the Panasonic edge blended and warped projection solution; Bosch’s Praesideo digital public address and emergency sound system; Dexon’s video wall processor plus a range of security products from Samsung, Bosch, Flir, Dedicated Micros and Panasonic.

LEISURE
If you are already selling products or looking to enter the leisure market, this zone will give you a better understanding of how to combine a wealth of products to provide a more complete solution. The zone includes: a pub scene with EPOS till solutions from Casio; audio products and projection solutions; an outdoor leisure area with waterproof screen; and a cinema foyer integrating large format displays fed by media players. A range of security equipment will also be incorporated including ZyXEL switching and a range of Bosch cameras.

HEALTHCARE
Depicting a real life medical scene inclusive of waiting area, hospital bed and consultation room, this solution zone brings together: video conferencing for diagnostics; prescription and label printing; digital signage and displays; access control and security; as well as barcode scanners and an interactive TV. With the range of products on show being suitable for hospitals, dental surgeries, GP offices, private healthcare and nursing homes, this zone will give you a huge range of ideas and lucrative opportunities to expand your current offering.

UK FIRST SHOWINGS
Last year, visitors were wowed with the first UK showing of Samsung’s impressive multi- touch display, the SUR40. This year, Samsung will be showing its new A3 and A4 business colour printers and MFDs, as well as its new hybrid displays; Pansonic will be focusing on interactive solutions while also exhibiting its first ever lampless projector; Casio will unveil its rugged V-T500 Android tablet; Ricoh will showcase its new business projector range and mobile printing devices; Atlona will debut its Linkcast wireless HD distribution solution; Evoko’s innovative touch-screen room booking system will be on show; the new Dexon 4000 series video wall controller will get its UK debut; the Avaya Flare Experience communication application will be demonstrated; while B-Tech will be launching their new ‘pop out’ videowall mounting solution.
