A new website, aimed at training retailers and channel partners, has been launched by Samsung.SamsungRefresh has been designed to offer retailers and their staff the opportunity to 'refresh' their knowledge of the vendor's latest products.
Users will also be able to access training schemes and online exams that can lead to them being awarded certificates.
Speaking about the launch of the new initiative, Samsung's vice president, Andy Griffiths said: "We are proud to support our channel partners with a state-of-the-art training website.
"We are confident that this will bring Samsung to the forefront of online training in the UK and Europe."
Samsung will also be offering prizes for those retailers passing its exams – ranging from restaurant tickets through to an all-inclusive trip to Reykjavik.
Retailers have warmly welcomed the launch. "Our floor sales staff are challenged each day to explain detailed technology to our customers, which is usually too time consuming to find in the public domain," said Dean Adams, sales and marketing director of Bennetts Retail, speaking to ERTweekly.
"The Refresh website has the information we need to be able to sell Samsung products well."
