Samsung has announced that it’s launching a white version of its Galaxy Nexus smart phone in the UK.
Claiming that it will be the first smart phone to feature the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, Samsung said that the device will be available here from February 13th.
The Galaxy Nexus White will carry all the features available in the original Galaxy Nexus, and will see a number of additions such as facial recognition to unlock the phone and integration with Google+.
“After much speculation, we are pleased to announce the availability of the Galaxy Nexus White which follows the great reception the phone has received since it was launched back in November,” said Samsung’s Simon Stanford.
“One of the things we at Samsung pride ourselves on is the choice we offer customers, and we've enjoyed huge success to date by introducing white variants of our most popular models to our product portfolio.”
