Samsung’s print division has launched the Samsung Authorised Independent Retailer (AIR) programme, targeted at helping retailers increase laser printer sales.
The scheme will give Samsung’s independent retail partners free-of-charge display stands and display stock, marketing support materials, and access to the Samsung Partner Gateway for more information and product guides. Indies will also get a point-of-sale starter pack with product cubes, pens, posters and window stickers.
Nick Taylor, OER (office equipment retailer) channel account manager for Samsung UK, said: “We highly value the existing partnerships with our independent retailers and we believe the AIR programme will continue to strengthen them. We hope the scheme will greatly benefit our retail partners by optimising sales and drive sell-through to the consumer.”
AIR specifically supports vendors selling the following Samsung printers: mono printer range (ML-1865, ML-1865W and ML-2525W); mono multi-function range (SCX-3205, SCX-3205W and SCX-4623FW); colour printer range (CLP-325, CLP-325W, CLX-3185 and CLX-3185FW).
Samsung’s authorised distributors are: Computer 2000, Ingram Micro, JGBM, Micro P, Midwich, SDG, Spicers, and Westcoast.
To register for the scheme, retailers can go to the registration portal at www.samsungpartnergateway.com.
